Tryon Park is located in the town of Irondequoit outside of the City of Rochester, NY just east of Interstate 590. This secluded 82-acre plot is mostly undeveloped aside from its trails, which are rugged, having been created by hikers and mountain bikers. Popular activities in the park include mountain biking, off-road cycling, hiking and running, geo-caching, birding, fishing, and snowshoeing. Trails are not particularly hospitable to runners or *cross-country skiers, but some may find the rugged terrain a decent challenge for those specific activities.

Rochester is for us, who don't know it at all, a city of any time or country, moonlight, filled with lovers hoving over piano-fortes a city of handsome streets wrapt in beautiful quiet and dreaming of the golden age.
